Wayne Lai, Sheren Tang and Lee Tim Shing to film RB 3?

 Wayne and Sheren collaborate for Rosy Business 3 in order to fight the looming TV battle The free Hong Kong TV licences will be given out next year. With a TV war looming ahead, in order to secure its position as the head, TVB has lured people like Wong Jing and Eric Tsang back to help with the promise of good money. They have also asked seven-time movie queen Deanie Ip and Andy Lau to come back to film dramas. TVB has been so eager to retain whatever talents it has. It is said that they managed to persuade golden producer Lee Tim Shing to stay on even though his contract with TVB ends at the end of the year. Tim Gor has promised to produce a drama for TVB. He and Wayne Lai have also managed to persuade Sheren Tang into collaborating for Rosy Business 3 (RB 3). Wayne hopes to be able to become a 3-time TV King, thereby creating history in the process.

The charm of both Wayne Lai and Sheren Tang, who both won their TV King and Queen awards twice in a row, cannot be denied. Together with Teresa Mo, all three of them performed together in what Wayne termed as the 'date of the century'. He said that it was such a rare opportunity that all three of them, who are widely widely recognised as good actors, even got to showcase their acting skills. The ones who got to benefit the most were those fans who came from all over the world to see them perform; However, Wayne relishes all these. As for Sheren, she had an image makeover thanks to Mo Mo and showed off her feminine side...

Wayne Lai and Sheren Tang attended the Mingpao Weekly Entertainment Awards 2011 together. Wayne won the 'Most Outstanding Actor' award based on No Regrets while Sheren Tang also won the 'Most Outstanding Actress' award based on the same drama. No Regrets also triumphed the other nominees by winning the 'Most Outstanding TV Programme'.

At the awards ceremony, Sheren and Wayne, who won the 'Most Outstanding Actor' and 'Most Outstanding Actress' awards together, were in a very good mood. They exhibited good chemistry in and outside the drama. After seeing their 'intimate' expressions, it was not surprising to see fans from both sides getting jealous.

Comments: Fei Fan Gor is definitely one of the most despicable characters I have ever seen in a drama, but that is because Evergreen Mak made it seem so real. Credits, really, should go to Evergreen, who has worked hard over the past 20 years to be where he is right now. It seems that his life was not all that smooth-sailing as well, but I'm glad that he has overcome all odds to become a much stronger person. ^^

UPDATE: Wayne Lai will be coming to Singapore for the Starhub-TVB awards ceremony! It seems that Fala Chen will be making her way here as well. I'm not sure about Sheren Tang, but I do hope that she makes it. Tickets for the awards ceremony are priced from $68 onwards, which excludes the $3 SISTIC booking fee. It's very expensive to me, so unless more of my favourite TVB artistes are going, I don't think I will pay so much to go and see them. BUT, if Sheren is coming, I may change my mind. xP

TVB tries to sign on Wayne Lai and Sheren Tang after they win TV King and TV Queen twice in a row

After being crowned TV King again, Wayne Lai has been given many job offers. He hopes that he would be given another chance to work together with Sheren Tang, by filming a couple advertisement together. However, Sheren's fee is too expensive, so his wish may not be granted.

Yesterday, he and Evergreen Mak attended a talk together. Wayne, who is down with flu and sore-throat as a result of the erratic weather, said that after knocking off, he would go and see a doctor. While he has been attending events for the past few days, he said that since Forensic Heroes 3 would start filming next month, he must make use of the time now to earn more money.

Wayne said that after winning TV King, many people want he and his on-screen partner Sheren to work together, but Sheren's fee is too expensive. When asked whether he'll ask Sheren to lower her fee, Wayne joked that if Sheren was willing to film the ad with him, then he'll do anything to suit her, because it is now the trend to appear together as an on-screen couple. However, he won't request that Sheren lower her fee, because after all, both of them are worth a lot of money in the market.

Fala doesn't want to be TV Queen yet

After the TVB awards ceremony ended, much of the attention went to those won TV King and Queen. However, competition for the supporting roles are also stiff. Evergreen Mak has been in the TV industry for 23 years, and this is his first time winning the Best Supporting Actor award, but he said that the happiest thing is that he has won the recognition of his colleagues; As for Fala Chen, who won the Best Supporting Actress award twice and has both career and love going well for her, her abilities have long been confirmed, but she has no wish to win the Best Actress award yet. To both Evergreen and Fala, the awards are just icing on the cake; In both their journeys as artistes, both of them have people who were by their sides and always giving them support, making them who they are today.

I totally agree with Tim Gor! Even the third and fourth-line artistes deserve our recognition and salutation. Especially for those "Japanese soldiers" in the drama... I really salute them for spending so much time to practise their Japanese. "Uncle Ming" actually had somebody to coach him in Japanese. No wonder his Japanese sounded really so fluent and nice! ^^ They are part of the crew that made No Regrets so memorable, no matter how small their roles are.

No Regrets has made Pierre Ngo (Pai Guat) and Evergreen Mak (Fei Fan) popular. In my programme, most netizens have voted Evergreen Mak to be this year's Best Supporting Actor. Why is his role so popular? What is Fei Fan's reaction?

Eileen Cha: Evergreen Mak -- Because of this role, he has 11 interviews in 3 days
Cha: When you accepted the role of Fei Fan, did you expect the reception to be that good?
Mak: No, and I never thought of it. So long as I act my role well. I don't even think about the award, because it's very painful. After this, I've finally understood. I don't act just for the sake of getting a prize. So long as I act my role well, I'm happy.

Fei Fan's role made him very popular. He said, "In 3 days, I've already accepted 11 interviews, and I was really afraid that I won't be able to generate much discussion. When I go out, people start calling me Fei Fan Gor, and organisers have invited me to various ribbon-cutting ceremonies. I have also more offers for dramas, but I've rejected them, because I do not want to be away from my family for too long, especially when I have 2 children who are between 6 to 8 years old."

I sincerely wish that Evergreen Mak will get this year's Best Supporting Actor, because he is worth it.
