Hi everybody! It's voting time again, this time for the 43rd Mingpao Awards. No Regrets is being put at a disadvantage here because it was aired in Hong Kong last year. It's been nearly a year now since No Regrets first aired in Hong Kong, so I think many people may have forgotten about it by now. In fact, the other nominees include people who have participated in dramas that were aired this year. People's impression of them may be stronger, so we need to do whatever we can to help our No Regrets' team win the awards. This is the very least we can do as fans.
You are only allowed to vote for only ONE person at one time. But no worries, after voting for one, you can refresh the page and vote for the other person.
1) Click on https://marketing.omghk.com/htm/showbiz2011/cfm/form.cfm to get into the voting website.
2) Scroll all the way down until you see the word '視', which stands for the TV category.
3) We won't be able to vote for the best TV programme, so vote for Wayne Lai as the Most Outstanding Actor.
4) Submit your particulars as shown below. Please enter legitimate email hosts like Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail etc.
After submission, you will see the 'thank you' message as shown below. If you don't see this, it means you have filled up something wrongly. After this, you can just click on the 'back button' on your internet browser, change your ID number and email address, and proceed on the step 5. It's much faster this way.
5) Repeat steps 1 and 2 to vote for Sheren Tang as the Most Outstanding Actress. Repeat step 4 after that.
6) I found this category rather weird. Don't Tim Gor and Cheung Wah Biu come together lol? I believe that both Tim Gor and Cheung Wah Biu do deserve recognition for what they have done as well. Without them, there won't be today's Sherayne. Repeat steps 1 and 2 and vote for either of them as the Most Outstanding TV Back-stage crew. Repeat step 4 after that.
Voting ends on 9th November 2011 (Wednesday), so please support them! ;)
I love this blog and thanks for all your great work finding and translating all these news and articles! ♥
ReplyDeleteDo you need to be a HK resident to be able to vote? Yeah, that last category that Tim-gor and Cheung Wah Biu are nominated in is kinda weird, lol.
Channel U is going to be airing Rosy Business starting tomorrow (Sat 5 November, 7:30pm)! Just saw a promo trailer on TV today. I've already watched the whole of Rosy Business before, but the thought that it's going to be on TV again fills me with inexplicable excitement, haha. I kinda feel like watching it again, hee! Also, the latest issue of i-Weekly (#731) has a one-page article about Tim-gor.
@Tammy Hi Tammy! You're welcome! ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure about it actually heehee. I just voted for them though. ;P
Mediacorpse is damn lag lol! I've re-watched Rosy Business for 4 times already! xP I don't think I can catch it on Channel U though, because school is really killing me right now. T_T
Really? Do you have the article? Can you scan it to me somehow? Maybe you can send it to my email or something. ;P
@dreamlucky Okay I'll try to see if I can get in a few votes, hehe. :)
ReplyDeleteIKR! MediaCorp sucks at importing foreign programmes. So lag! The Channel 5 side is also very laggy at importing foreign shows. Just recently Channel U was airing Moonlight Resonance (a 2008 drama) and E.U. (a 2009 drama), both of which I had already watched. I don't know why they have such a huge lag time for Hong Kong dramas; quite recently Channel U managed to air some Taiwan idol dramas the same week they're aired in Taiwan, so apparently they can sometimes be quick if they want to...? IDK.
About the article -- no prob, I've just emailed a scan to the email address in your sidebar. :)
@Tammy Hmm, I think TVB has a contract with Starhub. Starhub will get to show all the latest TVB dramas (actually their latest is still a few months later than Hong Kong's -.-'''). In fact, I think Starhub has to broadcast the drama at least twice (once in Mandarin, once in Cantonese) on their channels before Mediacorp gets to air it.
ReplyDeleteWe Singaporeans are really one very deprived lot lol. I don't have cable TV, so I actually rely on my friend to lend me the DVDs, which is why I get to watch them much earlier than what Starhub/Mediacorp is showing. >.<
Thanks a lot for the article! I've posted it up already! ;)
