I totally agree with Tim Gor! Even the third and fourth-line artistes deserve our recognition and salutation. Especially for those "Japanese soldiers" in the drama... I really salute them for spending so much time to practise their Japanese. "Uncle Ming" actually had somebody to coach him in Japanese. No wonder his Japanese sounded really so fluent and nice! ^^ They are part of the crew that made No Regrets so memorable, no matter how small their roles are.

No Regrets' celebratory dinner

Sheren Tang, Lee Tim Shing and Wayne Lai set new records with No Regrets. However, Wayne Lai has no intention to film the third installment. (I purposely made this phrase bigger lol!)

No Regrets, starring Wayne Lai and Sheren Tang as leads, ended with high ratings of 47 points, with 3 million viewers watching and crying at the same time. Last Sunday, No Regrets dominated the awards ceremony, with Sheren Tang and Wayne Lai winning Best Actress and Best Actor again, and Evergreen Mak and Fala Chen winning Best Supporting Actor and Best Supporting Actress.

Virginia Lok: TVB has a lot of money
TVB deputy executive chairman Mr Norman Leung is very happy with No Regrets' results, and invited everybody involved in this drama for dinner at a Western food restaurant. Wayne and Sheren naturally became the centre of attraction, and even the actors who played the Japanese soldiers were also present.

After that, Sheren interacted with a few TVB high executives including Stephan Chan, Virginia Lok and Catherine Tsang. Lok has dangled attractive terms in order to coax Sheren and Wayne into signing a contract with TVB. She said, "In the past, we didn't dare to bring up this matter, because we're afraid it would affect the results. This is now the good time to bring it up. We are very sincere. TVB has the most money. However, Wayne's wife is his manager, and will forever be. Sheren also has a manager whom she gets along very well with. Unless her manager retires, I don't think she'll sign on with TVB."

As to whether she'll sign on with TVB, Sheren said, "If my manager retires, TVB will have the upper hand. I've always filmed TVB dramas without any bond, and I don't know when I'll retire." Will she take this chance to increase her pay? Sheren joked that Gau Mui has a lot of money.

As for Wayne, he has no intention of asking for a higher pay, but has jokingly praised himself for being worth so much money.

Storyline
Guangzhou is in a state of political turmoil in the 1930s. Gangsters are on a rampage and opium trading becomes rampant. As they watch the illicit profits from opium trading escalate, the government forms the Anti-Smoking Bureau under the guise of suppressing opium, but the bureau is under the influence of CHENG LONG-KWAN (Elliot Ngok), the gang’s kingpin. His eldest daughter CHENG KAU-MUI (Sheren Tang) who is an unscrupulous person soon returns from Shanghai to reap the rewards. MUI meticulously plans her every move.

On the other hand, LAU SING (Wayne Lai) is the leader of the Criminal Investigation Team. He has worked hard all his life to ensure an easy trail for his family, especially for his bed-ridden younger sister LAU CHING (Fala Chen). Despite his hot temper, he values friendship and brotherhood more than anything else. Once, he almost sacrificed his life to help his timid teammate, TONG KAT (Pierre Ngo).

It is fated that MUI and SING should meet each other and survive many calamities. It is also fated that both are fierce contenders who will never give in, although mutual understanding and affection slowly grows between them.

Meanwhile, the Japanese army invades China and Guangzhou falls into the hands of the Japanese. MUI enters the darkest time in her life when her aunt CHENG LONG-HEI (Susan Tse) frames her.

Bad woman betrays sister @ No Regrets

In No Regrets, I am acting as Hon Yu Ha's daughter and is very greedy and manipulative. In this drama, Sheren Tang and my mother are good friends, and she treats me like her daughter. However, my character is really no good. I was caught by the Japanese soldiers and to escape, I lied to them that Fala Chen was committing adultery and told them to catch her. I haven't acted this type of role before, so hopefully the audience will accept!



In this drama, I may look innocent, but I'm actually really manipulative and greedy.


Susan Tse, who acts as Sheren's aunt here, will make use of me frequently.


Elliot Ngok and I will have some feelings for each other.


Rosy Business has received praises from audiences and critics alike. No Regrets is being led by the same cast and I am sure that everybody is anticipating it.

Time really flies... No Regrets is going to wrap up filming soon. Today, I return to the factory to shoot my scene in episode 30. Not only do I feel the satisfaction of filming, I have also made many friends here. To be able to act in the same drama is also fate. I will treasure all these memories...

Sudden Weekly #772

In the entertainment world, the way you line up is very important. One big group photo will determine your position. To ask for a prominant spot is a big headache for photographers.

Take, for example, Fala Chen. Last Saturday, on the 8th May 2010, she attended No Regrets' blessing ceremony. She arrived late, and everybody was already getting ready to shoot a photo. Fala then decided to stay by the side. With the help of the back-stage crew, Fala managed to stand near Sheren Tang.

Although what Fala did was not proper, but she was not black-listed by the rest of the cast. Why? Because she knows how to adapt quickly. When she was cutting the roasted pig, Fala was really serious about it. Kara then fed her a piece of pork. After that, Fala went to find Susan to pose photos with, acting as if they were really very good friends.

Fala is also very meticulous. During the event, Susan's belt suddenly came loose. At that time, Susan was holding a piece of pork, and could not have tighten her belt up herself. At this time, Fala took the intiative to put down the fruit she was holding and helped Susan with her belt. It's no wonder that Fala managed to get off scot-free!

Fala Chen arrived late, and was embarrassed to take a group photo.

With the help of the back-stage crew, she managed to sneak in.

After posing for a few photos, she went behind Kara.

She finally managed to get close to Sheren, but was blocked by Nancy.

Kara feeds a piece of duck meat to Fala. Both of them are always playfully posing for each other. They do resemble mother and daughter!

Susan's leather belt has came off. Fala helps her with it. She is so caring and yet knowledgeable!
