Gau Mui managed to take her revenge, and Long Gwan feels pleased. However, Chow Tit and the rest were worried that the Japanese commander would take this opportunity to arrest her, and advise her to leave Guangzhou...
Lau Ching realises that Yeung Yeung’s mother has been secretly reading her diary, and vows not to write things that happened between Yeung Yeung and her.
The Japanese have bombed Pearl Harbour, and with the war getting out of hand, Gau Mui and Lau Sing are afraid that they will lose contact with each other...
16th November 2010 (Episode 22)
Long Hei visits Long Gwan in the hospital, and tells him about how the soldiers are starting to fight against the Japanese. Long Gwan regrets listening to Gau Mui’s advice for him to step down. Lai Wah takes very good care of Long Gwan, making Long Gwan very happy...
Lau Sing decides to bring Lau Ching out of Guangzhou after dicussing the matter with Gau Mui. However, Fei Fan betrays Lau Sing...
17th November 2010 (Episode 23)
Gau Mui worries about Lau Sing’s safety. In order to save him, she cooks up a story... Long Gwan knows that Lau Sing has been captured, and warns Gau Mui to keep her distance from him.
Gau Mui tricks Lau Sing into confessing, and the Japanese tells her to execute him personally...
18th November 2010 (Episode 24)
The doorbell rings. The Japanese commander's brother has brought a flower for Lau Ching in order to show his sympathy for Lau Ching, whose brother has been killed. Lau Ching accepts the flower... Tong Gat vows to get rid of Fei Fan...
The Japanese commander is getting more and more displeased with Gau Mui, saying that ever since she executed Lau Sing, the opium smokehouses have not been doing very well in business.
The Japanese soldiers barged into the Cheng’s house at night and arrests Gau Mui, shocking everybody...

Thoughts on Episode 20
I'm really left speechless... I really am. I'm just totally in awe of this episode. This episode has to be one of the most POWERFUL episode that I've seen from a TV drama, ever. And I'm seriously not kidding. Episode 20 really spells "eee peeee eye ceee".
The figures speak for themselves. Never before have I seen the myTV views go up to as high as 1 million views (may hit 2 million views by the end of the day!) by 1 pm itself. Never before have I seen over 100+ (and still counting) pages of discussion in the Hong Kong forum going on just for one episode. This episode is really, really, one of the best episodes I've ever seen from a TV drama. =) Episode 20 has even hit 1 million over views on myTV in just 2 days!! GOSH!
There's so many things I love about this episode! What really happened to Long Hei? She is really very scary now! She even caused the Japanese 2nd-in-command to slap her own brother! O.O''' But haha, that serves as a good reason for Gau Mui to get rid of him (and probably her) later on. xD
I love how Lau Sing stood up for Gau Mui in front of Long Gwan. Ah, how can one be so manly? If I were Gau Mui, I would have married Lau Sing immediately LOL! ;D
Pai Guat is really damn unlucky, but haha, I felt like laughing when he was beaten up. =P It was really quite funny, even though I know Pai Guat just has the worst of luck. >.<
Episode 20 can be summed up as Sheren Tang's solo. Boy, I really love how her eyes can speak volumes! ._. The look of concern that slowly turned to hatred when she saw Pai Guat puking out blood - that was simply AMAZING acting on her part.
The part where she seduced the Japanese 2nd-in-command was also 正! Ah, how can she kiss him?! -.-''' She hasn't even kissed Lau Sing LOL! xD But that's where the epic part comes in, because everything is a show. =P
Sheren's performance in this episode is so stunning that I think she should receive a Lifetime Best Actress award from TVB or something. Give Cheng Gau Mui to other people and I don't think anyone can pull it off as well as her! Her performance in this episode is good enough for her to win Best Actress another 5 times. xD I totally love the triumphant smile that she gave to Lau Sing at the end of the episode! ^^

I felt really very heart-broken for Gau Mui, and I believe that Lau Sing felt the same way too! <3
Stupid Long Hei… She’s really getting very scary now. Because of what she has done, I’m starting to doubt her identity as Long Gwan’s sister as well. >.< Like what Gau Mui said, in the past, Long Hei did not drag Long Gwan into the feuds that occurred between the both of them, but now, Long Hei seems bent on harming Long Gwan as well! Oh, I must say that Gau Mui looks really very very pretty when she’s smoking opium! *fangirl-ing in process* BUT, no matter how alluring she looks when she’s smoking, don’t follow her and take drugs hor (though I think this drama feels like a drug to me! I'm totally addicted! @_@)! ^^

I hate it when Lau Sing ignores Gau Mui, but love it when Lau Sing knew what exactly happened to her! <3 Ah, how can a guy be so manly ah? =D The church scene during the last few minutes was really the sweetest thing ever! <3 I really love how the Gau Mui - Lau Sing relationship is building up! *blood glucose level rising exponentially*
I must say that Sheren Tang really did a fantabulous job as a drug addict who is suffering from withdrawal symptoms. Her scream of agony really made me feel very heart-broken for her. If I, as a girl, can feel sotouched heart-broken for her, what's more Lau Sing, who has witnessed how much hardship she has gone through. Aww, Gau Mui! *hugs* Can I take it that Lau Sing and Gau Mui finally hugged? It wasn't really mutual though, but it's really very sweet enough. *blood glucose level rising again* xDD
After watching these 2 episodes, I finally know why this drama is called "義海豪情" in Chinese. I am really, really so in love with the Chinese title! ^^

The theme song's lyrics really aptly describe this episode, because the lyrics really "materialised" in the drama itself.
The Cheng family is back, like finally. I realised that I haven’t been seeing them for quite some time, and I must say that I do miss seeing them. xD Poor Long Gwan. He slapped Gau Mui for being a traitor! >.< And what is Long Hei up to? She seems super scary now…
OK, the main gist of this episode was that, Lau Sing saved Gau Mui, and took the bullet for her. T_T I swear that it’s damn touching and heroic of him lah! >.< Gau Mui is really not a human being if she doesn’t feel anything for him LOL. xD That scene was really touching, because when the Japanese commander (up till now I don’t know his character name! xD) dragged Gau Mui to the car so that they both could escape, Gau Mui went hysterical and ran out of the car to see how Lau Sing was! Oh my goodness me, how can anyone not feel touched by that scene? =’(
But *&#^$&, Lau Sing ah, why did you have to imply that you regretted saving Gau Mui?! No wonder Gau Mui said, "Let's not be friends anymore!

YES! I can watch No Regrets on myTV leh! =D But it's an on-and-off thing. Sometimes I can watch it straight from the website, sometimes they say "This video can only be streamed in Hong Kong." I didn't do anything; I didn't follow what justforfit said haha. I think it's just luck. =P Try accessing myTV from internet providers like Firefox (not IE can le), and try accessing it in the afternoon LOL! ^^
Ahh~! Gau Mui is really sooooo damn cool! "She enjoys being raped!" xDDDDD I totally LOL-ed at this part lah! >.< Haha, go go go, kill Lai Wah ah! ^^ She’s really such an eye-sore (though I must really give Nancy Wu the props for acting out Lai Wah’s immaturity)! =D But I doubt Lai Wah will stop here. Weehee! I managed to watch both episodes 16 and 17 today because I’m feeling happy! ^^ I’m finally done with Maths! The bane of my life is gone, for good, I hope. =D I really hope I don’t have to touch Maths ever again! Bye bye, complex numbers, vectors, integration (these are my most-hated topics!)! I really hope not to see them again! >.<
Anyway, here are my thoughts for episode 16. I’m sorry if my thoughts seem very scattered. I’m typing this in a rush, since I need to study for Econs! >.<
The scene where Yeung Yeung got shot seemed really real. I really thought IT WAS REAL, damn it. =( It’s all Ching Ching’s stupid thoughts. -.-‘’’ And erm… I’m not sure about this, but the scene in the cinema… Did Yeung Yeung just “proposed” to Ching Ching? Hmm…
I really, really hate Lai Wah, I really do! >.< How can one be such a hypocrite? But I guess war does really bring out the true nature of people. People can do anything just to save themselves, which is kind of sad, but so very real and true. That’s what I like about this drama. =)
And argh! I really hate it when Lau Sing misunderstands Gau Mui. I thought he was supposed to understand her more than anyone did, but now, I feel that even though he likes her, he is still unable to grasp her true character. xD I feel sad for Gau Mui because ever since her "sister" died, she doesn't have anybody to rely on (except Lau Sing of course!). Lau Sing, please console my dear Gau Mui! ^^
OK, I'm off to study again!
