10th November 2010 (Episode 18)
Gau Mui was attacked by people, and the Japanese commander immediately arrests people...
Gau Mui finds Lau Sing at night, and together, they helped the orphans in the orphanage leave Guangzhou for Hong Kong...
Long Gwan suddenly comes back from Shanghai, and asks why Gau Mui collaborated with the Japanese to open up the new smokehouse. He then accuses her of being a traitor...
Lau Sing manages to save Gau Mui, but was shot in the process. Lau Ching's heart is giving her problems again, but everybody avoids telling Lau Sing that for fear of aggravating his condition...
11th November 2010 (Episode 19)
Gau Mui can't bear to drag down Lau Sing, and tells him to break off all contacts with her. Fei Fan helps Long Hei meet up with the Japanese commander, where she hands over the tape to him...
Lau Sing goes to Dong Tai, and realises that Gau Mui was smoking opium... Fei Fan threatens Gau Mui after he found out something... Lau Sing brings Gau Mui to the church in an attempt to help her kick her addiction to opium...
12th November 2010 (Episode 20)
Lau Sing accompanies Gau Mui for the whole night. Gau Mui found out that the 2 Japanese commanders were fighting among each other...
Long Hei makes use of the tape to drive a wedge between Long Gwan and Gau Mui, and to also make the Japanese commander suspicious of her...
Lau Sing worries for Gau Mui when he saw her car outside the restaurant where the Japanese soldiers were dining...

Pierre Ngo's portrayal as Pai Guat in No Regrets has earned him praises, and he has become a hot candidate for this year's Best Supporting Actor award. Earlier on, he was involved in a fight with martial arts master Sai Ho Ying, making headlines on the gossip magazines. As a second-line actor (supporting role), he has already overshadowed the leads Wayne Lai and Sheren Tang. It is not know if Pierre will get "promoted", but he wishes to become a lead one day.
Worries that he might cry uncontrollably
Pierre Ngo is very thankful to producer Lee Tim Shing for giving him a chance again to shine, and says that he is anticipating Pai Guat's character when he first received the script. "For the beginning of this drama, Tim Gor has added quite a few scenes for me. At first, I was worried as this is the first drama that requires me to cry a lot. Filming was tough, and even Wayne said that my character is hard to act out. I must be able to grasp and portray this character accurately. When everybody was filming episode 3, they were all very worried for me. Evergreen Mak even told me that he was afraid I would cry uncontrollably, because even after the camera stopped shooting, I was still crying! After that, when my grandmother died and after I killed King Kong, I cried even harder. Nobody pulled me aside to tell me to stop crying, and everybody started crying as well, including part-time artistes! Probably because they are older, and they will think about the Japanese Occupation. Before the filming, I went to the internet and watched some films regarding the Japanese Occupation, and took note of the Japanese' faces as well as the sufferings of the people. We spent 4 months filming this drama, and we must first feel before we can move the audience. For this drama, I have to keep my eyes swollen for the whole day. I may have eye-bags now, but it is all right."
Finally, TVB has people who can act
No Regrets may have only aired a few episodes, but there have already been rave reviews. Pierre said that even guys have come up to him and said that they cried while watching this drama, and many people have praised him for his outstanding acting skills as well. Pierre said, "Every time I come home, I will switch on the computer and go onto the internet to read the netizens' comments and views. Seniors like Felix Wong have also praised me on Weibo, saying that finally, TVB has people who can act. When I go back to the company, those costume designers and make-up artists who have watched me grow up have already praised me, saying that I have already matured. After hearing all these, I'm really very touched. However, some netizens have also said that we over-acted. To be frank, I feel comfortable watching ourselves, because the script is like that, and I have personally seen people argue in this way as well.
Role is more important than prize
Now that he has made his name, Pierre is asked whether he has the confidence to become a male lead in TVB. Pierre said that it is not important whether he gets a prize or not, but said that he hopes to be a male lead in a drama one day. "Some reporters have asked me whether I still want to get the Most Improved Male award, which I have already gotten last year. As for whether I want to get this year's Best Support Actor, it is up to fate. After getting the Most Improved Male award, I have many more job offers, and my salary has even increased! You may ask if I have anymore wants? I do not have any! I am now a second-line actor (supporting role), and I do wish to become a first-line actor (lead role) one day. Comments: I do believe that Pierre, with his good acting skills, will be able to rise up to become a male lead some day! =D He has really matured a lot in this acting. After Siu Git is shot, Dai Fung arrives on scene and orders his men to chase Pai Guat down. They follow him through a dark forest, shooting at him as he runs. Pai Guat soon loses his footing and rolls down the hill. The entire Cheng family arrives at the hospital in a hurry. Gau Mui asks Dai Fung what happened. He replies that it was the girl's fault. All Siu Git wanted to do was take her for a ride but she denied him that pleasure, then a policeman came and shot Siu Git in the chest. Long Hei threatens to beat her until she tells them where Pai Guat is now hidden. At that time, the doctor informs them that Siu Git's injuries are severe. The bullet punctured his lung and is now lodged in his ribs. But he promises to do his best to save him. The angry Long Guan orders all 3000 of Dong Tai's men to find and bring Pai Guat back to him, dead or alive.
Thoughts on Episode 15
Ahh! Oh mee gawd, Gau Mui finally knew what Lau Sing said that time!! <3333333 But eh, she never really showed any emotions? Lau Sing looked super shy though! <333333 And aww Lau Sing, you are going to drive me crazy lah! I can tell that he's really infatuated with Gau Mui! The way he peeped at her talking on the phone was soooo sweet! <3 But Gau Mui refused to tell him her problems. =(
Wendy Hon totally surprised me in this episode. Really, kudos to Sheren Tang and Wendy Hon for their outstanding performances in this episode. I was really very touched by Gau Mui's and her "sister"'s relationship. I really feel like slapping Lai Wah though, but Nancy also did a good job here! Chow Tit finally scolded Lai Wah today! That goes to show how bratty Lai Wah is.
And gosh, Ching Ching totally shocked me! I didn't expect her to do that, and I must say that I was taken in! o.O''' I hope Fala's character will be able to have more development too! I think Fala Chen is doing a good job as Ching Ching!
Episode 16 looks good, but unfortunately, I won't be able to watch it or post anything, because I have my exams! =( Do look out for Mandy's recaps, and do leave your comments here though! I will still be able to read and reply them! ^^
I've also set up some polls, so do vote! =D I wanted to do a poll between Rosy Business and No Regrets, but I've decided against it, because the theme of these 2 dramas differ greatly. It's not like Heart of Greed and Moonlight Resonance, which deals with family business (just that they changed it from abalone to mooncake). Rosy Business deals with the rice business, but No Regrets deals with World War II and how life in Guangzhou was like in the 1930s. So, I feel that although these 2 dramas have nearly the same cast, there is no basis for comparison, so no poll on that. =)

Comments: I think there should be an OST for No Regrets. The background music used is really very good! I realised that TVB dramas do not have OSTs, unlike the Korean dramas, but that's also because there are more songs in Korean dramas. =P

I love this episode, especially the last 15 minutes! =D
It's kind of sad, when the Japanese started bombing their place and all that. You can really feel everybody's worry and anguish. Special mention to Kara Hui here. She did not get her Movie Queen award for nothing! ^^ Her worry and anguish for her son was really very well brought out. And haha, I love how Gau Mui was trying to talk some sense into her. Heehee, showdown between TV Queen and Movie Queen. =P
Still, I don't get why people are so against Ching Ching reading her diary. =X I think people find it boring, but actually, I have nothing against it. It helps to build up the story, and I think it's pretty interesting to know what Ching Ching thinks about Gau Mui. =)
And ah! Like what meemee! said, I really felt like slapping Lau Sing for letting Fei Fan off! >.< But the scene in Ju Long Lei was really very sweet! Lau Sing really confessed that he likes Gau Mui, but wtf, where is the female lead?! -.-''' Up till now, from what I see, I really think Lau Sing loves Gau Mui, but Gau Mui still doesn't betray any emotion? =( Aww... I feel sad for Lau Sing! But Gau Mui, you seriously rock! I think I'm so seriously in love with you ah! <3 I kind of miss the old Gau Mui from the earlier episodes, where she's so haughty and whatnot, and this episode, the haughty Gau Mui is back! =D Fantabulous job there! Even her assistant Chow Tit looks so haughty ah! =D
